We met at my sister’s wedding, we married in a church, we lived in Corby, in Cromarty House, with the Dilkes as our neighbours. We moved to Westrow, Putney, and found quite a community there, including the Jones. We needed somewhere bigger and moved to 25 Coalecroft Road, where the Browns and the Hughes, the Breakspears and the Millards were our neighbours. We had many friends and some good times. Our sons grew up and we enjoyed spending time in Treguddylan in Pembrokeshire. The journeys were long, but the pleasure on arriving was great. Those days seem far off now, but I remember them with pleasure and the part you played in my life. John Hazel
